Volvo / GM solder-on tank set
Top Tank
This tank has a 2 1/2" Hose connection (angled upward), a 1/4" NPT flange for an expansion tube, two 5/16" mounting holes to attach side frames, three 5/16" NC threaded blocks to mount the surge tank, and four 1/4" threaded blocks to attach the rubber seal.
Bottom Tank
This tank is the same as the top except the hose connection is at the other end, the flange is for a drain cock, and there are holes @ 11 1/2" centers to accommodate an oil cooler (to be supplied and installed by the customer).

These tanks have 2 1/2" diameter hose connections, a 1/4" NPT flange for a drain/expansion fitting, a mounting boss at each end to attach side frames, and four 5/16" threaded nuts to attach the fan shroud and rubber air deflectors. The top tank has two 3/8" NC threaded nuts for mounting the surge tank, and the bottom tank has holes @ 12" centers to accommodate an oil cooler.

This surge tank has a 1 3/8" diameter hole for a filler neck in the top, a bracket with one slotted hole and one clearance hole, two 3/8" NPT fittings and four 1/4" NPT fittings on one end, a 1/4" NPT a 1/2" NPT and a 1/8" NPT fitting on the opposite end with a bolt-on connection, two mounting brackets on the bottom, and a 1" diameter heater bypass hose on the bottom.
