Freightliner side frame
This frame has eight slotted holes on one end, eight round holes onother end, and various other holes for brackets, etc. Frames are made to fit either the left or right side foryour convenience. (Early model) Learn More -
Freightliner side frame
These frames are to be used on later model Freightliners with "rounded" headers. They have eight clearance holes drilled for 5/16" bolts on each end, fourteen 1/4" NC threaded holes on each side of the frame, fifteen 1/4" NC holes on the back of the frame, various other clearance holes drilled for 1/2". There is a bracket on the back of the frame with two clearance holes drilled for 1/2" and one hole drilled approximately 1 3/4" dia.

Western Star side frame
Top flange is an "L" shape with 10 holes, two with5/16" N.C. threads and eight drilled clearance for5/16" bolts. Bottom flange has 12 holes, four with5/16" N.C. threads and eight drilled clearance for5/16" bolts. Various other holes for shroud andbrackets, etc.NOTE: Frames are not interchangeable. Top flange also has an overhang extending to 12 1/2" with 3 more holes drilled clearance for 5/16" bolts. Gusset on overhang has 6 holes, 5 of them drilled 7/16" dia. and 3/4" dia. Various other holes for brackets, shroud, etc.
